Beaches in Antigua:

There are so many beaches on Antigua that it is possible to find the perfect beach for every taste. All the beaches are open to the public, but some are more remote than others.

If you are looking for a quieter beach than the typical main resort beaches of Dickenson Bay and Runaway Bay you could try Fryers Bay or Rendezvous Bay on the southern coast.

The vast array of different beaches on Antigua means that you can find great locations for different activities. Long Bay Beach near the village of Willikies and Carlisle Beach next to the village of Old Road both have fine white sand and crystal blue waters and are good for snorkelling. Galley Bay near Five Islands Village is popular with surfers during the winter months and evening joggers. Sea turtles sometimes use Galley Bay as a nesting place.

If you want more information about beach activities or beach locations please ask Dickenson Bay front desk.
