Nightlife in Antigua:
Antigua can be as quiet or as lively as you make it. During the week,
nightlife tends to focus upon the hotels, but on Friday and Saturday
nights the island lights up, whilst Sunday afternoons at Shirley Height
is a party not to be missed! The following bars, nightclubs and casinos
are well worth your attention, but as opening times vary, please check
with us before venturing out. Also, please note things tend to start
happening late.
THE BEACH on Dickenson Bay, PUTTERS, LASHINGS on Runaway Bay, The
18-KARAT Nightclub and TRAFFIK Nightclub in St. John's, THE MAD MONGOOSE*
and ABRACADABRA* in English Harbour, (*during the winter months),
are all popular night time hangouts.
For those of you who like to gamble there is the KING'S Casino located
in St. John's.
Restaurants worth trying out are LE BISTRO in Hodges Bay, PAPA ZOUK'S
in St. John's, THE BAY HOUSE at Tradewinds Hotel, SOUTHERN CROSS*
and ALBERTO'S* in English Harbour (*during the winter months).
